

On-Set Aging & Blood Work:
Make it look like Hell, under pressure
On-Set Aging & Blood Work is a two day, advanced level course. It is a hands-on, practical workshop designed for set costumers, truck costumers, prop masters, prop assistants or anyone with film, theater or other costume experience who wants to gain confidence in aging or applying blood in a realistic way while under time restraints . This fast-paced course is designed to teach students the techniques and skills that are necessary for creating realistic effects. We will explore quick tricks for working under pressure on set as well as more involved techniques used when time permits.
This course is intended for those who have already completed a pre-requisite Costuming for Film & TV : Level 1 & 2 or have prior set experience. With our instructors’ guidance and expertise, you’ll learn how to create realistic aging and blood effects with confidence and efficiency.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS WORKSHOP:
Students must have working knowledge of a film set and terminology. Students will be provided with a list of tools and supplies to bring including but not limited to a personal set/ aging kit and at least one article of clothing or accessory to be worked on during class. The more challenging the better.
